Attending the dentist for regular dental check ups is very important for everyone, especially children.  All Children should have attended the dentist for their first check up by the age of one.  Regular visits will not only make sure any problems are spotted early, they will give you the opportunity to get advice from the dentist and practice staff.

The ‘Childsmiles’ oral health project aims to improve the oral health of young children and is supported by Blyth Valley Children’s Centres.  As part of this project local dental practices are providing all children under 5 with free oral health gifts.  Ask for vouchers at your local Children’s Centre or your chosen dentist.
