Buffalo Community Centre

Youth Club - Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Buffalo Centre - term time only from 5:45 pm - 7:45 pm, 8—16 year olds, only 30p per session.

Art Group - every Tuesday from 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm. £1.50 per session, pop along to the Buffalo Community Centre if you are interested in art, like to share ideas, get together with like-minded people, share ideas.

Arts and Crafts - every Tuesday evening from 5:30 – 8:00 pm
Pop along and learn oil painting, acrylic painting, card making, drawing, flower arranging, stencilling, leather purse making. All materials supplied as well as drinks, cakes and biscuits. Cost: £10 for first week then £7.50 for additional weeks.

New youth club project at The Buffalo Community Centre
New Youth Club on a Monday evening from 7 – 9 pm, at the Buffalo Community Centre for young people aged 11 – 18 with mild to moderate learning disabilities. Admission is 50p.
Activities include: Pool, Wii, play station, arts and crafts and much more. Pop along and meet the Buffalo’s friendly staff

Healthy cookery course for BME women - Monday mornings from 9.30 am -11.30 am.
ESOL course in partnership with JET - Wednesday mornings from 10 am - 12 noon. Both the Health Cookery and this course will have FREE childcare. Unfortunately there is no funding for transport.

Meets every Thursday from 9:30 – 11:00 am at the Astely Park Pavillion. Cost: £1.50 per family (1 adult + 2 children), 50p per extra child. All welcome.

The Alligator Klub
The Alligator Klub is a nightclub for people over 18 years of age with learning difficulties and their carers.

Pop along and meet new friends, enjoy a good night of great music with DJ Spikey. Members will be able to perform on the ‘Open Mike Session’ Every last Friday in the month from 7 pm – 10:30 pm at The Bothal Suite, Ashington Leisure Centre, Institute Road, Ashington. £3 per session.
