Blyth Venues

Buffalo Community Centre

Youth Club  -  Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Buffalo Centre  -  term time only from 5:45 pm - 7:45 pm, 8—16 year olds, only 30p per session.

Art Group  -  every Tuesday from 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm.  £1.50 per session, pop along to the Buffalo Community Centre if you are interested in art, like to share ideas, get together with like-minded people, share ideas.

Arts and Crafts  -  every Tuesday evening from 5:30 – 8:00 pm
Pop along and learn oil painting, acrylic painting, card making, drawing, flower arranging, stencilling, leather purse making.  All materials supplied as well as drinks, cakes and biscuits.
Cost:  £10 for first week then £7.50 for additional weeks.

Youth club project at The Buffalo Community Centre

Youth Club on a Monday evening from 7 – 9 pm for young people aged 11 – 18 with mild to moderate learning disabilities.  Admission is 50p.

Childrens Dance Classes (working with BVAL) on Mondays 4.30 to 6:00 pm; Tuesdays
4.15 to 5:00 pm; Thursdays 3.30 to 5:00 pm.  There are also 2 dance classes on Thursday’s Diddy Divas then the older childrens group.  Each session is £1.50. Contact Eileen as above.

Fridays 6:00-8:00pm – ‘Newsham Getaway Club’ a free youth club for all 11-17 year olds. Different activities each week including, arts and crafts, sports and cooking.

Seaton Valley Venues

New Hartley Community Centre

Parents and Toddlers have spaces.  This group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm and Fridays 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.

 

Seaton Sluice Community Centre

Bric a Brac Stall  - first Wednesday in each month ie, 6th November and so on.  Proceeds from these events is towards the Purchase of Building Fund.

Doorstep Pictures  -  Films will be shown at 1pm on the 2nd Thursday of the month.  All tickets £2.50 for sale on the door.

 

Seghill Community Centre

Seghill Gala 2014 - June 7th 2014
Next years’ theme is the First World War.  The Seghill team are hoping to make the street parade the biggest and the best yet.  If you are interested in taking part or would like to have and make your own float then please contact Fiona Wardlaw.  Fiona has the cans and can’ts rules for the floats.

The Alligator Klub

The Alligator Klub is a nightclub for people over 18 years of age with learning difficulties and their carers.

Pop along and meet new friends, enjoy a good night of great music with DJ Spikey.  Members will be able to perform on the ‘Open Mike Session’  Every last Friday in the month from 7 pm – 10:30 pm at The Bothal Suite, Ashington Leisure Centre, Institute Road, Ashington.  £3 per session.

Do you have or know someone with a disability and who is bored?   Then why not come along and join our Disabled Sports Club on:

Tuesday evenings between 6-9pm for 18yrs plus.

You can take part in light sports, play dominos, there's loads of things to do or just have a chat with your mates.  Cost is £2.50. Refreshments available.  Pop along with your carer for a great night!
