Blyth Venues 

Buffalo Community Centre

Youth Club  -  Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Buffalo Centre  -  term time only from

5:45 pm - 7:45 pm, 8—16 year olds, only 30p per session.

Art Group  -  every Tuesday from 12:00 noon - 3:00 pm.  £1.50 per session, pop along to the Buffalo Community Centre if you are interested in art, like to share ideas, get together with

like-minded people, share ideas.

New youth club project to start at The Buffalo Community Centre 9th January 2012.

This new project is aimed at working with young people from the age of 11 to 17 years old.  The Buffalo Community Centre is based in the Croft and Cowpen Quay area of Blyth, near the town centre.  The first session starts on Monday 9th January 2012 at 7:00 pm—small cost of only 30p.

Cramlington Venues

                                          Eastfield Pavilion

Monday Morning Breakfast Club  -  meets every Monday for breakfast at the Pavilion from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.  All welcome.

 

Seaton Valley Venues

New Hartley Community Centre

Parents and Toddlers have spaces.  This group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm and Fridays 9:00 am – 12:00 noon.

 

Whytrig School, Seaton Delaval

Wednesday 18th January 2012, to be seated by 7:00 pm— A Spititual Evening.  Seaton Valley Radio are hosting this event to raise funds for the local radio station.  Tickets £5 with a free raffle.  Refreshments available.  For further details please contact: Stephen John Stanners on 07892696394.

Seaton Sluice Community Centre

Seaton Delaval & Holywell Community Centre

Dead Man’s Hand by Seymour Matthews – 24th, 25th, 26th January 2012.  Plays start at 7.30pm at Seaton Delaval and Holywell Community Centre.  Ticket prices are £7 & £6 concession. Tickets can be pre booked by phoning 0191 2980704 or can be paid for at the door.

Astley Park Pavillion

New Toddler Group – The Seaton Delaval Toddler Group.  Meets every Thursday from 9:30 – 11:00 am at the Astely Park Pavillion.  Cost: £1.50 per family (1 adult + 2 children), 50p per extra child.  All welcome.

St Paul’s Church, Seaton Sluice

Seaton Sluice Festival of Music  -  Choir Concert, Saturday 4th February 2012 at 7:00 pm. Featuring ‘The Standing Stones’ and ‘Voicemale’ choirs.
Doors open at 6:30 pm.  Raffle. Winter warmer refreshments available  -  Mulled Wine,
Non-alcoholic punch plus Northumberland soup and bread.

Other Areas

The Alligator Klub

The Alligator Klub is an evening get-together club for people over 18 years of age with learning disabilities and their carers.  Pop along and meet new friends and enjoy a good night of great music.  Members will be able to perform on the ‘Open Mike Session’

The next meeting will be held at Morpeth Rugby Club on 20th January 2012, 7 pm – 10:30 pm with a ‘Burns Night’ theme.

Future meetings will be held on the last Friday of the month from 7 pm to 10:30 pm at Ashington Leisure Centre’s Bothal Suite, Institute Road, Ashington, with music by resident Disc Jockey D J Spikey.  Cost: £3 per session (Carers free).

Perfect Timing

Perfect Timing are holding a FREE open day event for any community / voluntary group who are interested in seeing how they work and how they can help raise funds for their group on Monday 30th January at the Pamper Parlour, The Old Police Station, Front Street West, Bedlington Northumberland from 2 pm till 6 pm.  All welcome.
