Blyth Valley achieves new
NAVCA Quality Award
Community & Voluntary Action Blyth Valley has gained the rigorous new NAVCA Quality Award. The award is open to local infrastructure organisations like Community & Voluntary Action Blyth Valley which work behind the scenes to ensure that local voluntary organisations and community groups get the support they need.
The award is based on a set of Performance Standards. Achievement of the NAVCA Quality Award gives an authoritative endorsement for the effectiveness of local infrastructure organisations. To gain this award Community & Voluntary Action Blyth Valley had to demonstrate that its support makes a real difference to voluntary and community organisations in their area. The rigorous assessment process involves an external audit and interviews with service users and funders.

CVA Blyth Valley - Live one to one funding advice
CVA Blyth Valley has an excellent track record in successful applications for local voluntary and community groups. We are piloting a live on-line service where anyone can ‘chat’ to a Funding Advisor through an instant messaging service on our Facebook page. The pilot will run from Wednesday 6th March 2013, from 2 pm – 4 pm and every Wednesday until Wednesday 1st May 2013.
